Minnesota Renewable Resources Solar Tour

2008 Parade of Homes Fall Showcase(SM) – Sep. 6 – Oct. 5
2008 marks the 60th Fall Parade of Homes Tour, and this year's tour will feature eight Minnesota GreenStar homes. Builders and remodelers in the Twin Cities are embracing this new standard. Almost 300 builders and remodelers have attended Minnesota GreenStar training.
Minnesota GreenStar was developed by environmental and building science experts, home builders, and remodelers. The originating partnership included the Green Institute (a nationally recognized leader in the Green building movement), the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, and the National Association of Remodeling Industry – Minnesota. Experts from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the University of Minnesota, and Excel Energy also helped develop the program. read more
